Getting started
Connect a Solana wallet and sign in to see your collector profile and supported cards.
You can browse Live listings, Collector binders, and collector profiles before signing in. To see your own cards or contact another collector, choose Connect wallet.
- On a phone, open OpenSlab in the browser inside your Phantom or Solflare app. The wallet panel also has Open in Phantom and Open in Solflare links. On desktop, use a supported wallet extension.
- Choose your wallet and approve the connection in the wallet app.
- Choose Sign in with this wallet and sign the login message. Connecting alone does not complete sign-in.
- Open My binder to check which supported cards were found and whether ownership verification is available.
Signing in creates a collector profile for a new account. Supported cards can appear in your binder automatically, but signing in does not list or transfer a card.
Your binder and listings
Share your collection for discovery and choose separately which cards to list.
A new collector's binder is public by default, so other collectors can discover supported unlisted cards. Public does not mean listed: an unlisted card is shared for discovery and is not advertised as available. You choose each listing yourself.
- Open My binder. Use Refresh binder to check your wallet's supported cards and verification status.
- To hide unlisted cards, choose Hide unlisted binder under Show my binder to collectors. Choose Make binder public to show them again. Active listings remain public when the unlisted binder is hidden.
- For a supported, verified card, choose List asset to publish a live listing. The button may be unavailable if ownership cannot be verified or the card cannot be listed.
- Under Your active listings, choose Remove listing when you want to take one down. Removing a listing does not transfer the card.
You can browse others' Collector binders in the Marketplace. Ask the owner about an unlisted card before assuming it is available to trade.
Profiles and messages
Find collectors, share your profile, and keep card questions in one place.
Open Collectors to browse profiles or look up a collector by Solana wallet address. Under Your profile, choose Edit profile to add a display name, a short bio, and what you are collecting. Choose Share profile to copy a link.
On another collector's profile, choose Message. You can also open a card, write under Ask the collector, and choose Send message; the card name and ID are included with that question. Replies appear in Messages. Sign in to send messages, and return to Messages to check for replies.
Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Avoid sharing passwords, recovery phrases, or other sensitive information. If needed, use Block or Report on a collector's profile.
Inspecting a card
Review the photo, card identity, listing status, and source of any value shown.
Choose View card from a listing, or open a card in a binder. The detail view marks it Live listing or Unlisted · in binder and shows available facts such as collection, grade, set, and year. Expand Card identity to see the exact card ID.
If a photo is available, choose Inspect photo. Tap or click to zoom; drag to move; pinch or scroll to zoom. Use Fit to reset the view. Visible detail depends on the provider's image, so a photo alone cannot prove physical condition or custody.
Value & history may show a USD estimate with its source and check date. Current history sources provide valuation observations, not a completed-sales feed. Read the label and source: an estimate is not a sale price or guaranteed offer, and a provider-reported value is not an independent appraisal. If exact pricing data is unavailable, the panel says so; that does not mean the card is worth zero.
Make a trade
Propose cards and a payment, approve the exact swap, then let the other collector complete it.
Open Make a trade, choose the other collector, and check both sides of the offer: the cards and tokens you give and receive. An offer is a proposal until wallet approval. It does not move or hold your assets.
- The proposer selects Review account setup and confirms a wallet transaction. This creates a Solana offer account funded by a small, recoverable SOL deposit. No cards or payment tokens move in this step.
- After setup finalizes, the proposer selects Review exact trade and Approve this offer. Check every card, token amount, wallet, and quoted cost in the review and wallet before signing.
- The recipient later reviews the same trade and selects Accept and complete swap. The proposer need not be online. OpenSlab checks the resulting Solana transaction before showing a completed trade.
Cards and payment stay in their owners’ wallets until the swap settles; there is no escrow. The proposer’s signed trade is nevertheless a lasting authorization. It stays usable until the offer is consumed or its offer account is cancelled on Solana. Closing the page, removing a listing, or waiting days does not revoke it.
Current payment support is one line across the offer: SOL, USDC, or an explicitly identified classic Solana SPL token. Token-2022, multiple payment lines, and automatic creation of payment token accounts are unsupported. The app checks eligible cards and token accounts during review. Moving a promised card or spending the payment later can make the trade fail; cancel a trade you no longer intend to honor.
Cancel an offer
A funded offer is cancelled only after its Solana cancellation is confirmed.
If setup was never funded, the offer screen may let either collector Dismiss setup offer after the app verifies that no offer account exists. Once the offer account is funded, the proposer must select Cancel offer, review the cancellation, confirm it in the same wallet, and wait for a finalized Solana confirmation.
Cancellation is not immediate. The recipient’s already approved swap can settle before cancellation does. A pending, submitted, or unknown cancellation does not prove the offer is closed. Use Refresh status and the transaction link; do not create a replacement trade while the result is unclear. If the screen offers Retry signed cancellation, it resends the already signed cancellation, not a fresh approval.
A recipient may see Withdraw approval before sending starts. That stops OpenSlab from submitting the approval, but cannot recall a signed packet already shared for simulation. Only the proposer’s confirmed onchain cancellation revokes remaining usable copies. Closing the review window does not withdraw either person’s signature.
After a verified completed, cancelled, or failed offer, the proposer can select Recover account deposit. That returns the offer-account SOL deposit, less the network fee for recovery. Check recovery status before assuming the SOL is back in your wallet.
Gift a card
Send one supported card directly to another Solana wallet.
In My binder, select Gift card on a verified card you own. Choose a collector or paste the recipient’s full Solana wallet address. Check the complete address, card, network fee, and any recipient card-account deposit in the exact transaction review. A name or short address is not enough to verify the destination.
Check the acknowledgment, then select Approve and send gift and confirm in your sending wallet. The recipient does not sign or need an OpenSlab account, but must control the destination wallet. This sends one card in a one-way transfer: it is not a mutual trade. Once the transfer finalizes, the card leaves your wallet and OpenSlab cannot undo it.
A prepared gift has not moved the card. Submitted or unknown means its network outcome is still being checked. Open Sent gifts in My binder and Review status before considering another attempt. A card already committed to an active trade approval must be released through that trade’s cancellation or completion before gifting.
Fees and safety
Understand SOL costs, wallet approvals, and what an onchain confirmation means.
OpenSlab currently adds no platform trading fee in beta. Solana network fees still apply. Creating a trade’s offer account locks a small, recoverable SOL deposit; recovering it later is another wallet transaction with a network fee. A swap or gift may also require SOL to fund a recipient card account. The review shows quoted amounts and who pays. Network fees can change, and a failed transaction may still cost a network fee.
Keep enough SOL in the paying wallet. Review the full card IDs, token mint and amount, both wallets, and every wallet prompt. OpenSlab never needs your seed phrase or private keys. Stop if a wallet shows unexpected instructions, a different destination, or a changed transaction; refresh the offer or gift status before trying again. Do not bypass a wallet warning to finish a trade.
Onchain card ownership and transfer are distinct from any provider’s physical custody, redemption, or account rules. Check the card provider’s terms before relying on a transfer for those rights.
Troubleshooting a trade or gift
Check the current status before signing or submitting anything again.
- Setup pending: Wait for the offer account to finalize, then refresh the offer. Cards and payment have not moved during setup.
- Wallet rejected or changed the transaction: Do not approve changed instructions. Close the prompt, refresh status, and review the exact trade or gift again. If your wallet lacks transaction signing, connect a compatible sending wallet.
- Insufficient SOL or token balance: Check the fee payer, the quoted SOL costs, and the exact payment token account. Refresh after funding; a quote is not a guarantee of future fees.
- Card unavailable: Refresh My binder and confirm the card is still owned by the expected wallet, supported for transfer, and not reserved by another active approval or gift.
- Submitted, pending, or unknown: The transaction may have reached Solana. Refresh the existing offer or gift and check its receipt link. Do not blindly make a replacement, resend a new transaction, or treat an uncertain status as a failure or cancellation.
If the issue persists, keep the offer or gift ID and any transaction signature for support. Never send your seed phrase or private keys.
Supported platforms
Which Solana cards can appear in OpenSlab, and what it takes to trade one.
OpenSlab currently recognizes cards from these reviewed Solana collections when they are held in a connected wallet:
| Platform | Supported card standard |
|---|---|
| Phygitals | Metaplex Core |
| Collector Crypt | Metaplex Core |
| Beezie | Metaplex Core |
| Ready Cards | Classic Solana NFT (Metaplex NonFungible) |
Connect the Solana wallet that holds your card and refresh My binder. OpenSlab checks its owner and collection onchain. Ready cards held inside a Ready account need to be exported to your wallet first. New collectors have public binders by default and can hide unlisted cards. Publishing a live listing is a separate choice.
Browsing versus trading
The Other platforms browser also shows Collector Crypt's public catalog. A catalog card, displayed owner, or asking price is a provider observation; it is not proof that your wallet owns the card or that it is listed on OpenSlab. Catalog listings open on Collector Crypt.
For a trade, the exact card must pass a fresh ownership and transfer check. Frozen cards, unsupported token formats, changed collection settings, and other transfer restrictions can make a visible card ineligible. A successful NFT transfer does not by itself prove physical custody, redemption rights, provider fee treatment, or recognition of an outside trade. Check the originating platform's terms before relying on those rights.
Only the reviewed Solana collections and standards above are enabled. Other collections, other chains, and cross-chain trades are not available. OpenSlab does not claim an official partnership with these platforms or coverage of every card they issue.
Prices and history
How to read estimates, listings, and historical observations.
Estimated value is a source's view of a card's possible market value, checked at the time shown. It is not an offer to buy or a guaranteed sale price. A provider-reported or manually set value may not be an independent appraisal; the card view labels its source.
Asking price is what a seller requests in a listing. Collector Crypt catalog asking prices come from that platform; open the listing there to check current availability. An OpenSlab listing or offer is separate from a valuation. An insured value, when supplied, describes insurance coverage and is not a market estimate.
Current chart sources provide estimate history: a series of observed valuations, not completed sales. A completed-sales feed is not currently supplied. OpenSlab labels the kind of history and shows only observations the source actually supplied. Lines between chart points do not imply additional recorded prices.
Value and history coverage varies by exact card and source. If a price, observation, or full time range is missing, it stays unavailable; missing data is never treated as $0 or filled with invented sales. Pricing services may be disabled or temporarily unavailable, and catalog prices can change after they are shown.
